about
Jaycie Macdonald (B.ARCH) is a native New Orleanian, people watcher, pen sketcher, streetwear admirer, and maker. Jaycie counts herself in with the designers and creatives who do so for the sake of service, inclusivity, and of course art. All at once (or not), Jaycie's interests are in regard to: spiritual, sacred, and worship spaces, post-conflict architecture, passive systems, evolving coastal water systems, ramps that are not stuck to the sides of buildings, urban gardens, earthen materials, and the Westbank of New Orleans.
Jaycie has been a part of teams large and small and is a better communicator and teammate because of them. Within firms, studios, and co-working spaces, she has co-lead material research regarding sustainable sourcing and disposal processes, developed informed concepts and schema for projects, and has assisted in numerous industrial and residential remodeling plans. Jaycie looks forward to joining teams who challenge exclusionary norms, who aim to be stewards of our environment, and who stand for healthy banter in the workplace. She is excited to see where we can go together, as a profession.
